These are lovely little cameras, and really rather rare and come with quite an amusing history given that they were made in Japan by Kowa and were supposed to be named Kowaflex-S. But one guy didn't read English!
Anyway, these pretty unique in that they are a reduced version of a pro-spec slr but one that runs on 127 film using the lovely 4x4 format..
They are really lovely to use. Tack sharp lens and like their cousins the Hasselblads can have the occasional foible...skipping a frame occasionally. (we have three in stock amazingly, and they all do it!)
This example came to us in a pretty sorry state. We have tenderly reinstated it to fully operational condition and covered it in this lovely sage genuine leather....kinda reluctant to let it go now to be honest!
It's in very good condition throughout now, a couple of nicks to the paint that could be retouched and we have dry run about 12 films through it and it's doing exactly what it should be doing, shutter speeds sounding good and lens nice and clear.
Oh, and they are the best sounding camera ever! Great fun to use too
