Antique reclaimed French Apple boxes, Also known as "Bushel crates" are the latest sought after product for many homes and businesses alike. These boxes have come straight in from various parts of Europe and we have bought these directly from the farmers themselves from many different regions. At present we are importing more and more stock each week to keep the prices low and to cut out the middle man. One day they could be in a farm in France, Germany or Poland and a few days later they can be in your home. Use in your own home to store magazines, display your favourite objects or tidy away general household bits n' pieces in a stylish way! These are heavy duty boxes, built to last the test of time and are over 50 years old. Most of those years have been outside and they are very rustic! Don`t be surprised if there is the of blemish of countryside dirt or cobwebs. There may be the odd rusty nail and you may find some splits in the wood caused by the wind and rain from being in the fields for 50+ years. You may even come across an uneven slat, or slight difference in colour from crate to crate. We can offer discounts if you wish to order more than one box. They are all very solid with very small if any gaps between the slats and very few imperfections such as small bits of wood missing.We have no way of knowing if crates have been treated for woodworm. If this is something that concerns you we advise you treat them on arrival.
