The main component is the mineral mica, coated with special oxides with different angles of refraction. Getting on the pearl, the sun's rays are differently reflected from each layer, creating a stunning pearlescent sheen. The reflected light can change its shades from silver to gold copper, red, blue etc. But in fact, the powder does not change its original color "pearl" effect creates a bright and intense light.

In detail: For 1K solvent based clears with 15%-30% of nonvolatile matter (like nail clear) add 0.5% of clear base to tint and use like a candy and 1%-1.5% to use as metallic paint. For 2K solvent based clears and waterborn acrylic/polyurethane clears with nonvolatile matter 40%-70% add 0.7%-1.5% of clear base to tint and use like a candy and 2%-3% to use as metallic paint. For resins, wax, plastics and clears with nonvolatile matter 80% and higher add 2%-2.5% to to tint and use like a candy and 3.5%-5% to use as metallic paint or for casting. Base coat pigments - 2 -5% of clear base, plan 2-4 coats. Chost pearl pigment 0.5%-2% of clear base. Create a hue over other color. Used in last clear layers. Appling over black base will look with own pearl metallic color. These proportions just a starting point, to define optimal for you project always try and check in small amounts.
