With the virus thing going on we are a family of 5 happily, healthy isolated away on our 28 acres and we are NOT mixing with anyone at the moment these lures are all mixed and home produced on our site and we leave orders out for the post person to get. We normally have a campsite and fishery here as our main job but that is now shut down due to the situation. I will say although beekeeping is a hobby of ours these lures is now our only form of income at the moment and being self employed we are getting very little help. So:-  I WILL SAY THANKYOU FOR EVERY SINGLE ORDER IT MEANS THE WORLD TO US This is our 9th Year of selling this on Ebay and well over 1000 sold with loads of returning customers and stories of success and tried and proven by ourselves over many years often imitated but never duplicated. We were the original sellers of this all those years ago and unique re cipe to us of several blended ingredients. Note: This is aimed at attracting Honey Bees. This is a recipe unique to ourselves and a blend of several oils and components from years of trial and tweaked as we go along not just a tube filled with one simple over the counter oil. Last year we also started experimenting  with a 'Geraniol' based compounds, another chemical found in the Queen bee's pheromone and we are including a bottle of this new blend with every purchase of the 10 Tubes of our ever popular original lures and asking people to try it out and let us know how they get on compared to the original mix. Next year if it goes as well this year as last we plan to sell this for £5 a bottle on its own we are selling so much now here and else where we are mixing fresh every order. 50 TUBES PROVEN SWARM LURES If you having ever seen a honey bee swarm you cannot help to wonder how a single queen bee can hold a mass of 30,000 bees in a cluster like this. Well its all down to a pheromone released from the queen bees Nasonov gland.  This is a hugely complex blend of different terpenoids including Citronellol , nerolic acid and geranic acid and much more. Although this can not be 100% reproduced many of these essential compounds do occur in naturally in nature.  Now there are plenty of honey bee lures available on the internet which are simply one oil in a tube and sold on.  Many do work with different rates of success but over several years of trial an error our lures consist of a blend of several of these essential compounds found in the natural Nasonov pheromone.  Last year we had 20 swarms from just 8 traps. If you take the average cost of a nuc of bees of some £150 then work the maths out.  These can be used to attract swarms to your trap or hive or used to lure bees away from an area or to your orchard to pollinate your crops.  Swarming season runs from Late April to August in the UK but its never to early to start making your traps.  Any wooden box of approx 25 litre capacity. A small 50p sized entrance and smear the contents of one tube around the entrance and place another with the cap off inside the container. If you have old hive boxes use one of these or even the wood from broken ones for double success as. Or if you can obtain a piece of old brood comb use this as well. We always point out to customers if there are no bees within a couple of miles of your area in the first place you cant lure something that is not there to be caught. You would have to be unlucky though not to be within range of a swarm. Check traps every couple of days through swarming season. You will see traps slowly get more and more active then one still hot sunny afternoon bingo the swarm will arrive. Its never to early to make up your traps and the longer its exposed to the lure chemicals the better. The wood just soaks up the scent  Catching these swarms gets quite addictive in the end. The Americans actually call it Bee Fishing and i can see why. Its got the same excitement when you go off to check your traps. This sale is for a pack of 10 lures and once received please keep in an airtight container until you are ready to use. They are good for 12 months stored like this and you do not need to store any other way. All lures i send out are no older then 1 month old as we mix once a month and it takes a while to make a batch. Remember to handle swarms with care and please use with common sense i.e. do not place in areas near to childrens play areas e.t.c. I purchased some Bee  lure from you recently.

I put out 2 traps a month ago,

I have seen bees coming and going for 2 weeks but no swarm.

Yesterday i heard a drone of bees getting closer and closer.......i was 
in the garden.

One  trap is on my shed roof in amongst houses......oop.

I looked up to see a massive swarm high up but getting closer .....then 
they dropped down and went into my the bait hive.

All being well if they stay ..off to my hives in a couple of days.
