DESCRIPTION
A very scarce work.
Signed by the author to the recto to the front endpaper, dated October 1911.
A unique work, a partly typed and partly handwritten guide to the Kett family. A detailed look into their family tree.
This work was compiled by Louisa Marion Kett, with her signature to the recto to the front endpaper. Kett later published 'The Ketts of Norfolk' in 1921. This work presumably formed the basis for that later work, as a reference work and a guide.
The pages are typed to the recto only, with the handwritten pagination being to only the recto. The handwritten pages are written on both sides of the leaves.
Two original portrait photographs are tipped in, one of Fanny Kett facing page 80, and one of an unnamed man facing page 81. Five photographs of houses tipped in facing pages 167 and 168. Photograph of a church tipped in facing page 182. Photograph of a graveyard tipped in facing page 197.
Including a contents page and an index, both of which have corrections by the author in ink and pencil.
Compiled from the original documents and family sources.
This work was finished in August 1911, as stated to the title page.
Bookplate to the front pastedown.
