Item Description

A mild heirloom variety introduced and refined by New Mexico state university.  The 24-26in high plants deliver heavy yields of 6in long fruits of good flavour, mild heat with medium to tick walls..  Heat increases as the fruits mature. A favorite for roasting, the peppers are also often dried to create decorative strings, or ristras.

• Sow seeds 1/4" deep in 3in pots with quality soil based seed compost from early spring. Keep moist. Seedlings emerge in 10-21 days at 70degrees F+. Temperature is critical for germination.
• Transplant to individual containers when seedlings have at least two pairs of leaves.
• When 4-5 inches plant 18" apart in greenhouse / conservatory with root ball 1/2" below the soil surface.
• Keep moist and feed when flowering with tomato type fertiliser.
• Harvest when fruits have reached full-size and full colour.

Product Notes

The majority of our seed are now supplied in quality clearly labelled foils to ensure the freshness of seeds. A small number will be in sealed Ziplock pouches dues to seed size. Note cultivation advice is not attached on packets supplied as this allows us to keep packaging to a minimum and supply such high counts of quality seed at a fraction of high street prices. Full cultivation is provided above which can be copied or printed for those that require them.
