Our patented LED side repeaters are E marked, IP67 rated Quality assured - made by a factory who manufacture 1,000's of LED lamps for us with NOT ONE failure!!!!!! We even re-manufactured the standard side repeater before making the LED version! These lamps took 18 months to develop so it might not be the first but ours is patented. Designed very well as you would expect from the leading Defender LED lighting company. Our side repeater has 10 LEDs 7 more than others you do the maths! 10 LEDs give a nice sharp on/off repeating function unlike bulbs which dim on/off.  Bulbs fail on Offroading models due to vibration, LEDs are less likely to fail. The RDX LED Side Repeater comes with a bulb type connection so just push fits into the bulb holder. Ensure the Black wire goes to the Black wire on the vehicle loom.  LEDs are polarity sensitive so the bulb adapter must be fitted the correct way round, common belief fitting LEDs the wrong way round will damage the LEDs IT DOES NOT THEY JUST DO NOT WORK!!!!! Fits: Land Rover Defender 300 Tdi all models 1994 to 1998 Land Rover launched the Defender 300Tdi around March 1994 technically they are 1995 model year vehicles, the last ones are 1998 model year, in the UK most were registered on 'S' reg but some may be on later 'T' or 'V' reg. How to identify a 1994 to 1998 300 Tdi Air intake is on Driver side front wing Reverse gear is next to 4th AND the engine has 4 cylinders. Does not fit any other Land Rover model! Top tip when fitting RDX LED side repeaters ensure the metal contacts make good connection with the bulb holder, bending the wires to the outer edge will give them the best contact.
