2 Edison 4-Minute Cylinder Phonograph Recorders. Rebuilt. Records Well.. Over the next few weeks I will be listing some great reference cylinder and disc phonographs, carefully preserved and ready to play. When you buy a phonograph from me, each machine is meticulously cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted so that only a light oiling is required for regular use. My goal is to provide excellent working phonographs and accessories for both novices and long-time collectors alike. * * * * * * * For your consideration are 2 excellent working examples of scarce Edison 4-minute cylinder phonograph recorders including 2 brown wax blanks and one 4-minute black wax blank as pictured( lid not included). The 4-minute recorders have good styli and have been rebuilt with fresh rubber. The brass recorder bodies have no typical green lacquer left (that indicated 4-minute operation) and they may very well be something that replaced a broken pot metal body.
